Swarna V Kanth

Dr. Swarna V Kanth is the Chief Scientist of CSIR-CLRI and is contributing towards sustainable and green technologies and pioneered in establishing biodegradable leather products. She has 60 international research publications, 150 Indian and international conference research papers and a patent to her credit. She developed leather and its products clusters at national and international level. She is an expert in devising novel education, training and skill development models for achieving inclusive growth for a sustainable leather and footwear sector and green growth for workers, entrepreneurs and governments worldwide.
